Applying for a Gaming Licence in Queensland

Although there has been a cap on the number of electronic gaming machines in Queensland for over a decade, there continues to be movement in the market as entitlements are traded between licensees.

If you are considering an application for a gaming licence in Queensland we are happy to provide you with an initial consultation to assess your total investment and to identify any challenges you may face in the application process.

We have worked with a number of gaming licensees throughout Queensland and have prepared numerous Community Impact Statements in various localities.

2016 Gaming Developments

The recent amendments to the Gaming Act tied to the change in approved trading hours for licensed venues has created an opportunity for licensees to extend gaming hours by up to two hours after service of liquor has ended. For more information call our office on  07 3252 4066 or read this article.
